Sony EU Offering 2 Free Games as Part of Welcome Back Program

Sunday, May 8, 2011 |

Sony has said before that they’re doing a “Welcome Back” program for the PSN users who’ve been inconvenienced by the PSN’s recent outage before and now we have more details concerning it…for the European market that is.

Sony’s Official EU Blog has just detailed that Sony will be offering PSN users the opportunity to select two PS3 games from a list of five, as well as offering PSP users the opportunity to choose two games from a list of four. Unfortunately, Sony EU has not disclosed what titles will be available to choose from or whether it will let users choose between PS3 and PSN games.

This deal is for the EU market only for now. Although it would make a lot of sense if Sony Computer Entertainment of America did the same thing – which, wouldn’t surprise anyone if they did.

So, if SCEA does go this route, will two free games, along with free PSN Plus for a month and that $1 million protection plan per user be enough as a goodwill gesture for you? Sound off in the comments.
